In the presence of light, fear has nowhere to hide.
A dark space is filled with mysterious and slightly eerie music. Following a faint red light, you approach a record player and raise your flashlight. As the light illuminates the record, an animation begins to spin and play. The music gradually shifts, becoming warmer and brighter, revealing that the deep-seated fear was merely a distorted and magnified version of the familiar everyday.
This was a 14-day collaborative project with students from the China Conservatory of Music. My contributions included concept development, installation and scene design, coding, as well as illustration and motion graphics. The installation was featured in the "Infinity: A 'Visual, Auditory, and Tactile' Interactive Works Exhibition" and was reported on the official website and social media channels of the Academy of Arts & Design.
