Lanxi's artwork focuses on AI-driven interactive art installations and visualization.
Her work has been featured or recognized in 26 exhibitions, including
the 6th Art and Science International Exhibition (2024),
the Intel AI Empowering Art Exhibition (2024),
and Beijing Science and Technology Week (2021).
They have been showcased at national venues in China,
such as the China National Communication Center for Science and Technology (2024)
and the China National Exhibition and Convention Center (2024).
Her artistic honors include 7 awards, such as the Grand Prize in the Beijing Innovation Competition (2022, top 0.5%),
Third Prize in the Chinagraph Electronic Theater Outstanding Visual Effects Award (2022, top 8%),
and Finalist for the "Laurel Award" at the Beijing Design Expo (2020, top 2%).
Lanxi's design concepts have been applied to 15 real-world projects, including
the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics Gala,
the May 2024 cover of Nature Medicine,
and a knowledge graph visualization for the China National Natural Science Foundation.
Lanxi has published 6 first-author papers focusing on her interactive artworks and design research, with publications
in Leonardo (AHCI)
and Zhuangshi (CSSCI).
She has also co-authored 8 other publications, with recognitions such as
a CHI Best Paper Award (2024)
and an IEEE VIS Honorable Mention (2023).
In addition, Lanxi Xiao has received 19 individual honors, including the National Encouragement Scholarship.
